A father abandons his sons. Two brothers are separated. When he dies, they will reunite.
Bernalillo, New Mexico, Ray and Earl return home to mark the passing of their estranged father, Henry. Over a bottle of bourbon and a box of old photographs, tales of their childhoods emerge. As they encounter Henry's bizarre collection of friends, including his wild voracious lover, the colourful circumstances surrounding his death provoke violent suspicion.

Human Sacrifice Theatre (HST) is a joint venture between Mark Diaco and Justin Hosking who, frustrated with the lack of quality work available for actors, commenced work through their own company. Both actors have trained intensively here and the US and continue to appear in stage,
creen and television productions. Human Sacrifice Theatre is an independent theatre company that has already impressed Melbourne audiences with rave reviews following their 2006 season of another Sam Shepherd classic ‘True West’. In 2007 Jez Butterworth’s ‘Mojo’, Stephen Belber’s ‘Tape’ and ended the year on a high with David Mamet‘s Pulitzer Prize and Tony award winning play ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’. THE DIRECTOR - DAVID MYLES
David Myles lived and worked in the UK, USA and Europe for 25 years with acclaimed companies such as the National Theatre of Great Britain, The Royal Dramatic Theatre of Sweden, BBC, ITV and Paramount Pictures, working in the Theatre, TV, Film and Music Industries. He has worked with many of the world’s leading directors like Peter Brook, Ingmar Bergman and Jonathan Miller, and directed Laurence Olivier ‘The Merchant of Venice’, Maggie Smith ‘Three
isters’ and Derek Jacobi ‘As You Like It’. His theatre work has ranged from Shakespeare to Rock Musicals in venues as diverse as ‘The Old Vic’ in London, ‘La Fenice’ in Venice and ‘The Ahmanson’ in Los Angeles. In Australia he has directed drama, music theatre and opera for the MTC, ‘Revenger’s Tragedy’, ‘Travesties’, ‘Othello’ Playbox, Victorian Arts Centre and the Melbourne, Adelaide, Port Fairy and Castlemaine Festivals. Music productions have included the award winning ‘Sweet Charity’ and ‘Sweet and Bitter Conversations’ and Opera productions ‘Seduction of a General’, ‘Miles to Furphy’ for the Federation Festival and ‘Shakespeare Sung’ and ‘Voicing Emily’ at The Malthouse. Recent productions have included ‘Les Liaisons Dangereuses’, ‘Seeking Djira’, ‘Two’, ‘Twelfth Night’, ‘A Hole in the Ground’, ‘Empire’, the Gala Presentation of ‘Rocky Horror Show’ at the Regent Theatre, ‘Other Woman’ for the Short and Sweet Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, ‘Trio’ and ‘The Jacket’. He is also a Television Director and Artistic Director of Seduction Opera.

MARK DIACO - Ray Moss
Co - founder of the theatre company Human Sacrifice, Mark featured in such productions as David Mamet’s ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’, Sam Shepard’s ‘True West’, Jez Butterworth’s ‘Mojo’ and Stephen Belber’s ‘Tape’. Mark trained full time in New York at the LEE STRASBERG THEATRE INSTITUTE and William Esper STUDIO, His credits range across film and theatre and has also performed off Broadway . Mark’s recently appeared on the channel 7 cop drama ‘City Homicide’ and SBS show ‘Carla Cametti P.D.’. Up next Mark is filming the suspense thriller ‘Triskaidekaphobia’ and back on stage playing Stanley Kowalski in ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ directed by Lucy Freeman.
LEE MASON - Earl Moss
Most recent productions include ‘Kill the Wolf’ at the Arts Centre, ‘Glen Gary Glen Ross’ and ‘Reading Beckett’. Last year he appeared in the feature film ‘The Independent’ as the lead Marty Browning for Apocalypse Films. He has appeared in ‘Neighbours‘, ‘Blue Heelers’, ‘Thank God Your Here’ and worked at La Mama, Theatreworks, Gasworks, St Martins, Playbox, Chapel Off Chapel , Seymour Centre and the Carlton Courthouse.
BRUCE KERR - Henry Moss
has worked as an actor, director and acting tutor for the 40 years. During this period he has worked extensively on stage for the MTC, Playbox, La Mama and many commercial productions with Williamson’s, Edgeley’s, Cameron McIntosh, among others. TV commerical productions have featured prominently in his career from ‘Homicide’ to ‘Blue Heelers’. He has worked extensively for the ABC both on radio and TV. A noted narrator and voice over artist he has twice won Awards for commercial book readings. During 1998/99 Bruce worked overseas in his homeland Scotland for the Pitlochry Festival Theatre.
Returning to Australia 2000 he was nominated as ‘Best Actor’ for his performance in ‘The Seagull’ for the MTC and in 2004 for ‘Two’ by Ron Elisha at Theatreworks, and ‘Best Featured Role’ in ‘The Visit‘ for the MTC 2005. Recent theatre productions are Prospero in the ‘Tempest’ for Petty Traffickers and ‘Fool for Love’ at the Tades Hall.‘Ginger Mick at Gallipolli’ at 45 Downstairs and Hanny Raison’s ‘Inheritance’ at the Union Theatre. Beckett’s ‘Ohio Impromptu’ at the Convent. Recent television ‘Bastard Boys‘ 2007 and ‘Bootleg’ for ABC TV 2006. A La Mama stalwart since 1970 his latest production is ‘Green Wolf‘ at the Courthouse 2007. To be followed by a Victoria Tour and return season of ‘Ginger Mick at Gallipolli’ at 45 Downstairs. Just completed shooting an ABC Telemovie called ‘Valentine’ Day’.
JUSTIN HOSKING - Taxi
Has studied with the renowned Eric Morris in Los Angeles, and Anthony Vincent Bova in New York. His theatre credits include ‘Picnic’ (USA), ‘Quack’ (USA), ‘Four Queens in Hawaiian Shirts‘, ‘4Q2’ (Outcast Theatre - National Tour), ‘Almost Maine’ (Rubberdog) and ‘Prodigal Daughter’ (Women of Asia). He has also been seen in the last two Short and Sweet Festivals in ‘War Poems’ (2006) and ‘Fluffy Dice’ (2005). His TV and film credits include ‘Neighbours’, ‘Binny and the Jets’ and ‘When Darkness Falls’ (MUFF 2006). Co - founder of Human Sacrifice Theatre he has featured in such productions as SamShepard’s ‘True West’, ‘Jez Butterworth’s ‘Mojo’, Stephen Belber’s ‘Tape’ and David Mamet‘s ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’.
MARCELLA RUSSO - Conchalla
Marcella’s career began in Adelaide prior to moving to Melbourne in 1995. Her most recent theatre work was in the 2008 production of ‘Lovers and Haters’ for the Adelaide Arts Festival. Other theatre credits include appearances with the State Theatre Company of SA, Red Stitch, Junction Theatre, Hit Productions, Vital Statistix, La Mama, and Next Stage Theatre.
Marcella has worked extensively in television appearing in ‘Neighbours’ in the on-going role of ‘Liljana Bishop’; as well as ‘Very Small Business’, ‘Stingers’, ‘Blue Heelers’, ‘Noah and Saskia’, ‘Sea Change’, and ‘The Secret Life of Us.’ She has also appeared in many short films, works regularly in radio and is an accomplished singer performing in many bands.
