Rick has released many self hypnosis cds as part of various series, including Addiciton Relief, Personal Development and his Health and Well Being Series, which provide hypnosis and strategies for Stress Management, Stop Smoking and Weight Loss and Apetite Control.
The CDs have two 'chapters' to them; the first an introduction which is the same for all cds in the Health and Well Being Series. This is important as Rick explains the advantages to hypnosis when used properly and also conveys appropriate health warnings for the minority of people who require it. The second part to the cd is the specific hypnotic induction and subliminal messages, pertinent to the cd title.
The CDs induce a state of deep hypnosis via the special patented frequency combination. Once the deep state of hypnosis has been induced, usually about five minutes, then the directly spoken suggestions and the positive subliminal messages are heard and accepted by the subconscious mind.
For those of you wondering about the safety of hypnosis, you need only do a basic google search to erase any fears. However those of you willing to take my word for it can know that hypnosis is extremely safe, especially when conducted under the guise of an expert like Rick Collingwood. Those who suffer from any major mental health condition such as Schizophrenia, Multiple Personality Disorder, Bi Polar Disorder etc are advised to consult with their doctor before utiising the cds.
And for the big question - Does Hypnosis really work? I myself cannot personally answer that for every one of you. You might wish to let the volume of cds Rick has sold (over 450,000) sway you. Many studies have found that hypnosis works best on people with highly suggestible personalities, however one may extrapolate that just by opening your mind to the power and possibility of hypnosis, you are indeed elevating your chance of success.
Also, Rick Collingwood's self-hypnosis cds are called 'self-hypnosis' for a reason. Rick can only do half the job for you, the rest is very much up to the individual. You can listen to the cds all you like but if you aren't committed to change and willing to really try, you can fail.
Hypnosis isn't for everyone. But for those with an open mind and a committment to positive self-improvement, Rick Collingwood's cds are very much worth it.
