The event: The 2008 National Hypnotherapy and Counselling Expo - MindWorX
Dates: Friday 10, Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 October
Times: 10am to 5pm (Friday and Saturday), 10am to 4pm (Sunday)
Venue: Melbourne University, Union House, Level 2 Grand Buffet Hall
Cost: Of the scheduled talks and workshops, four are free on the Saturday and three free on the Sunday. All other Talks and Workshops will require an entry fee. People can book several events and enjoy a discount, which is explained on the website and attached 3 day schedule.

Expo General Information:

* There will be an Expo Information area with up to 15 tables, manned by people from various Therapeutic, Teaching and allied organisations. Their displays and information will be of interest to the public and to Health Practitioners alike. There are a total of twenty-four Talks and Workshops, planned over the three days. There are twenty-five presenters altogether and all are highly qualified and experienced health professionals.

Presenters include two international speakers, Costa Lambrias (UK) and Devin Hastings (USA).

* The Friday will be targeted mostly at practitioners and will consist of two workshops and four talks. Saturday and Sunday will be more for the public and will consist of a total of seven workshops and talks on the Saturday and a total of eleven on Sunday.

* In addition, on the Friday and Saturday, for the cost of a small "gold coin" donation to one of the participating charities, the public will be offered private, one on one,  pre-consultation  interviews with qualified Clinical Hypnotherapists. During these interviews, the person could ask about specific issues and the suitability of Clinical Hypnotherapy as a means of dealing with those issues. They could also ask about the process of Clinical Hypnotherapy and any other relevant questions upon which they may seek advice or information.

* On entry to the Expo, people will receive a "show bag" with various goodies including the CCH Handbook containing a listing of all of our Practicing Members across Australia. The "show bags" will also contain a Voucher for a Complimentary Full Consultation with one of our qualified CCH Clinical Hypnotherapy Practitioners. There will be contact information for participating practitioners, so that the person (member of the public) can phone their practitioner of choice and make a booking for the session. The Complimentary Vouchers will expire after 3 months.
