Managing partner and innovative entrepreneur Richard Grossi has brought together an extraordinary cast including General Manager Gary Gotcher, formerly of Patina. The exterior is being restored to its original condition, right down to every vintage detail. Inside, the owners are creating a bold, dramatic environment for ELEVEN, while salvaging some original design elements. The building was originally "The First National Bank of Sherman", built in 1922.
Guests enter beneath the main stage, into an area dominated by a dramatic island bar in the center of the room, faced with a beautiful glass mosaic. A powerful and sophisticated sound system further enhances this unique experience. A stunning water feature—in which flames are magically encapsulated in spheres of water—is being created by WET Design, the company responsible for the fountains at Las Vegas’ Bellagio Hotel. An expansive patio, buffered from bustling Santa Monica Boulevard by a 40-inch-high planter wall, will accommodate lunching designers, artists and entertainment industry executives, but is converted into lounge seating as ELEVEN begins its nightly transition—at 11:00 p.m., of course—into one of L.A.’s hottest night scenes. Even ELEVEN’s co-ed restroom is a work of art, filled with incredible mosaics, high-tech lighting and cutting-edge fixtures.
