Minister of Education John Della Bosca and his wife Belinda Neal, the federal member for Robertson, have been caught bullying staff at Iguanas Nightclub in Gosford on Friday night.
According to the statutory declarations sighted by The Sunday Telegraph, Ms Neal swore at staff before threatening club management with the loss of their licence.
She allegedly told a staff member he was "a liar, immature, ignorant and rude'' and said he "described the way I handled their relocation as a disgrace''.
A second staffer, who approached the table after becoming aware of a heated exchange, said he was abused and accused of "bearing a smartarse smirk''.
You don't want to call the police
Ms Neal is claimed to have stated that she would be contacting businessman John Singleton to inform him of the "disgraceful and disrespectful'' way patrons at the club were handled.
"Mr Della Bosca approached in an aggressive manner, pointing his finger in my face,'' Mr Golla said. "Mr Della Bosca said words to the effect of: `You don't want to call the police'.''
Mr Golla said Ms Neal yelled: "Don't you know who I am?''
Several staff members at the club surrounded the group as the yelling continued.
Six members of staff from Igunanas signed Statutory Declarations confirming their version of events and there is CCTV footage as well. On Sunday three members of staff withdrew their statements. John Della Bosca and Belinda Neal had used their links to a millionaire businessman and former president of the Central Coast Mariners to force a staff backdown on claims the couple was abusive and threatening at a nightclub.
An investigation into the aggressive and bullying behaviour of Mr Della Bosca by the government is underway. Bullying and school violence is still increasing at an alarming rate in Sydney.
