US- Madonna Show ‘Divisive’ - McCain Campaign
In true Madonna fashion, the Material Girl has ruffled some feathers during her latest World tour, and enraged John McCain’s camp in the process. During her concert images flash on the screen which compare the Arizona senator with Adolf Hitler and Zimbabwe’s Robert Mugabe.
Madonna gave her fans an in-your-face view of her political stance during the first show of her tour, where during a video interlude images of Hitler, Mugabe and McCain flashed on screen, along with images of destruction and global warming.
“The comparisons are outrageous, unacceptable and crudely divisive all at the same time. It clearly shows that when it comes to supporting Barack Obama, his fellow worldwide celebrities refuse to consider any smear or attack off limits,” McCain spokesman Tucker Bounds said.
A later sequence in Madonna’s on-screen collage showed slain Beatle John Lennon, Al Gore, Mahatma Gandhi and McCain’s democratic rival, Barack Obama.

US (Texas) - Gay “Really Straight” Republican Playing Cards
And on the subject of cards, two men from Austin Texas have come up with some gay themed cards of their own. Nathan Moore, now 23 was just 21 when he sat in a bar with friends discussing the latest Republican gay scandal. He ended up remarking that “There’s enough of these guys to fill a whole pack of cards.”
Now Mr Moore and his business partner have produced such a deck and are selling their packs of, “Gay (Really Straight) Republican Hypocrites Playing Cards.” The deck includes such Republicans as Larry Craig (pictured), Mark Adam Foley, Robert Allen, and many more. They have sold over 3,000 packs and counting and hope to one day soon sell enough to travel to the famous Minneapolis airport bathroom where Larry Craig was arrested, where they will sell more packs of the cards.

US - Florida town backs principal who outed lesbian student
A school principle has been reprimanded by a federal judge and demoted after he told a high school senior who complained of being taunted by other students for being a lesbian, that homosexuality is wrong, outed her to her parents and ordered her to stay away from children.
The principle also suspended some of her friends who expressed their outrage at his behaviour by wearing gay pride T-shirts and buttons at Ponce de Leon High School, court records have revealed. And he asked dozens of students whether they were gay or associated with gay students.
The American Civil Liberties Union successfully sued the district on behalf of a girl who protested against Principal David Davis, resulting in his being reprimanded for conducting a "witch hunt" against gays. Not only was Davis demoted, and school employees now must go through sensitivity training.

AUSTRALIA - A Very Kylie Christmas - Australian tour dates to be announced
The pop princess hasn’t toured Australia for almost 2 years, but now the wait is over - Kylie Minogue is expected to announce dates for the Australian leg of her 2008 “X” tour this week, set for December.
Promoter giant Michael Gudinski has reportedly been pushing to get Minogue back on home soil for considerable months following the astounding success of her 2006 “Showgirl” tour.
“The reason I hadn’t confirmed dates in Australia is, I really didn’t know what I was getting into,” Minogue stated on the weekend.
“But now I know. I have a show that breathes and changes and is dependent on people’s moods and environment. I can’t wait to bring it home.”
The tour is rumoured to be limited to only a few dates per capital city due to Minogue’s continuing health management following her breast cancer diagnosis and treatment in 2005, which saw her reschedule her “Showgirl” tour.
