It seems not even a hotel library is safe for movie stars anymore. Josh Hartnett is the latest star to be embrioled in a sex tape scandal after his passionate rendevous in a London hotel room was reportedly caught on camera.

Hartnett was apparently filmed during a more than compromising encounter in the library of a Soho hotel, to the total dismay of hotel staff. Josh and his anonymous partner attempted to hide their indiscriminant romp by closing all the curtains in the room, but were still caught in the act, with cameras being planted all over the hotel.

 A source reportedly told of the hotel staff's awkwardness during the scene saying, "Their every spit and cough was recorded, and cringing hotel workers saw all of Josh's X-rated moves.

“No one quite knew where to look and there was a very awkward silence.

"Josh didn't seem bothered that the library wasn't locked and anyone could just burst in. He just kind of went for it.”

After the incident, Josh was politely asked to leave by managment, and did so with his head held high.

Josh is currently in London for the theatre adaptation of Rain Man.
