One of Hollywood’s hottest and most sought after couples, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have sold pictures of their newest family additions Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon to People magazine and in turn the twins have made their world premiere on the internet.
People magazine has posted the cover of its upcoming issue, featuring the twins and their proud parents, on its website - a teaser for a 19-page spread which hit newsstands today.
A smaller photo in the corner showed the couple's two-year-old daughter, Shiloh, holding her new sister.
In a blurb that accompanies the cover photo there is a quote from Jolie that describes the couple's family life as "chaos, but we are managing it and having a wonderful time."
In addition to the twins and Shiloh, the couple has three adopted children.
Jolie, 33, gave birth to the twins in Nice, France last month. Despite masses of paparazzi camped outside the hospital during the birth, they were unable to penetrate the hospital's heavy security and hence no photos were leaked prematurely.
The twin's first shoot was conducted by photo agency Getty Images, with People Magazine acquiring North American rights to the photos and British magazine Hello with the rights in all other territories.
Although the bidding for the photos from many media sources saw the price skyrocket, Brad and Angie have said they will donate the proceeds to charity.
